Richard Rommelfanger, Director of Breakthrough Physical Therapy in Irvine, CA, has been a part of the Velocity team for the past six years. He is a second generation physical therapist who places great importance on educating his patients as a critical step toward facilitating a positive rehabilitation outcome. His experience allows him to ensure his patients enjoy the physical therapy experience as they overcome any obstacles associated with their injuries.
In 2008, Richard was selected to provide physical therapy to the Professional Golfers competing in the 2008 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines. For the second year in a row he is working with Velocity Sports Performance and a respected national sports agency to evaluate and treat the top collegiate football players in the nation as they prepare for the 2009 NFL Combine and 2009 NFL Draft. Throughout his career, he has consulted for and worked with Major League Baseball players, professional beach volleyball players, and US Track and Field Champions.
Having been a collegiate Track athlete himself, he enjoys the challenge of working with high-level athletes and possesses the demeanor, professionalism, and attention to detail that they need and expect. His practice continues to attract recreational athletes, motivated seniors and everyone in between.

When he is away from work, Richard enjoys mountain biking, perfecting his chili recipe and absolutely cherishes time spent working in his yard with his wife and two sons.
Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology and a minor in Biology in 1998 from California State University, Chico. She graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2002 from USC. Jennifer has a certificate as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association and her certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.
Jennifer was inspired to be a physical therapist after suffering an ACL tear in high school. During her 6 years as a therapist, Jennifer has focused her attention on the treatment and prevention of adolescent, sports injuries. Jennifer is currently the rehab and prevention specialist for SCATS Gymnastics in Huntington Beach, CA.
